Tenri Cultural Institute is excited to announce a new exhibition by Kado Soufoo kai. Soufoo kai is one of the most unique groups of Ikebana artists based in Japan. Matsui Kafoo, the founder of the group focuses not only on flower arrangements, but also what's beyond Ikebana a traditional Japanese art. Through Ikebana, Soufoo kai members embrace nature and by releasing their emotions and feelings out to create works of art. Soufoo kai also offers advice and counseling during Ikebana lessons.
This exhibition includes flower arrangements, calligraphies, and photographs.
When: 8/28 (Tue) - 9/1 (Sat)
Weekdays 12 pm - 6 pm, Saturday 12 pm - 3 pm, Closed Fridays and Sundays
