From June 21 to 29, Tenri Cultural Institute will be presenting “Hana Akari,” a group exhibition of clay crafts of artists from Japan. Through this exhibition, Michiko Takashima, one of the presenting artists, hopes to “present a visualization of Kyoto and the various flowers throughout the four seasons, as well as dolls and tapestry which best represent the essence of Japan.” The opening reception will be held on June 21, from 6-8 pm.
